Stop hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture

2.4

2030 will ensure sustainable food production systems and implement resilient farming practices that increase productivity and production, help conserve ecosystems, strengthen capacity for adaptation to Climate change, extreme weather conditions, droughts, floods and other disasters, accelerating land and soil quality improvement.

2.4.1

Share the agricultural area under productive and sustainable agricultural activity. Land-based recirculated fish farming facilities are the most sustainable form of production of fish, as high feed utilization, no disease, low mortality, minimize transport of fish is achieved – as sales can be made in nearby markets. At the same time, we ensure that we have low pollution to the environment.

Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and supporting innovation

6.3

By 2030, water quality needs to be improved by reducing pollution, eliminating waste dumping and minimising releases of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the share of untreated wastewater and significantly increasing recycling and safe recycling globally.

6.3.1

Water that is treated safely. Land-based shrimp and fish farming, from which only purified water is discharged, is fully in line with the Government’s desire for environmentally-friendly fish farming.

9.4

By 2030, the infrastructure needs to be upgraded and industries retrofitted to make them sustainable, with more efficient use of resources and increased use of clean and environmentally friendly technologies and industrial processes. All countries must act in their respective capacities.

9.4.1

CO2-Emissions Value Added. Production of fish on land so that they are not flown around the world is CO2 saving. Land-based farming, where all gambling water and sludge from production is cleaned is CO2-saving and a sustainable form of production.

Ensure sustainable consumption & production

12.1

The ten-year framework program for sustainable consumption and production patterns must be implemented and all countries must take action, with developed countries at the forefront, taking into account the development and capabilities of developing countries.

12.1.1

The number of countries with national action plans for sustainable consumption and production (SCP) or SCP integrated as a priority or objective in national policies. Fish is more environmentally friendly food than other meats. The production of fish on land is more environmentally friendly. Land-based production of fish with sales on the local market provides better quality of fish and reduce contaminated transport of fish.

Act quickly to combat climate change and their consequences

13.2

Action against climate change must be integrated into national policies, strategies and planning.

13.2.1

A number of countries that have announced the establishment or launching of an integrated policy/strategy/plan that increases their capacity to adapt to the negative effects of climate change and which promotes climate resilience and the development of low greenhouse gas emissions in a way that does not threaten food production;

 

This project is in line with government’s desire for land-based production of fish. We must show with this project that it is more profitable to produce fish on land than in the sea, while at the same time making it sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

14.1

By 2025 all forms of sea pollution must be prevented/ significantly reduced, especially land-based pollution including seawater and pollution through nutrition.

14.1.1

Index of coastal fertilisation (coastal eutrophication) and density of liquid plastic waste.

 

With a AA active sludge filter and handling of the sludge, this plant will not pollute the sea with nitrate and phosphorus.

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiverisity loss

15.1

Before 2020 preservation, reestablishment and sustainable use of ecosystems on land, in freshwater wet-areas mountains and in dry-areas must be secured in accordance to commitments in international agreements.

15.1.2

Share of key ecosystems on land and for freshwater biodiversity, which are part of protected areas, broken down by type of ecosystem.

 

Here we carry out a sustainable fish farming and ensure food production without burdening ecosystems. The sludge is made into an eco-friendly fertilizer which is useable on land.

Strengthen the global partnerships for sustainable development and increase the means to achieve its objectives

17.17

Effective public partnerships, public-private partnerships and civil society partnerships, based on experience and resource strategies from partnerships, must be encouraged and promoted.
